A twill-woven and hand rolled scarf, made of 100% natural fine silk, featuring a turquoise chair in minimalistic surroundings.
It will look beautiful as a pocket square (pochette), as a hair accessory, wrapped around your wrist or your bag handle.
The design was made as a paper collage from different magazine clippings and then scanned into digital format. Mia Papa wanted to express her frustration, when -after a serious accident- she was forced to stay home for a long time, feeling stuck and surrounded by walls.
This silk scarf is made in the small Greek town of Soufli, where silk is grown from natural silkworm cocoons since antiquity. It has been sewn traditionally by hand by local seamstresses.
