A quality notebook with blank pages featuring Hippocrates, 'The Father of Medicine' as he is usually referred to, putting on his disposable gloves. Part of the series 'The Wise Re-invented', this notebook is ideal for keeping notes or making sketches.
Hippocrates was an Ancient Greek physician and one of the most important figures in the history of medicine. At a time when most people attributed sickness to superstition, Hippocrates taught that all forms of illness had a natural cause and he described, in a scientific manner, many diseases and their treatment after detailed observation. He established a school where he taught medicine for a fee to those who wanted to learn ‘the Art’ and were prepared to abide by the rules described in the Hippocratic Oath, that is still used today by graduating doctors.
