Yannis Gounaridis, founder of bdl and head designer, is a third-generation jewel craftsman carrying a long family tradition that updates with a contemporary, modern and minimal style. He specializes in jewelry creation using mainly metal and variations of epoxy resin.

Based on the simplicity of an abstract form, Yannis and his team create jewelry and other objects with contemporary aesthetics that focus on everyday use. Their artifacts mirror firstly their love of contemporary art but also their philosophy of continuous artistic motion and constant research on jewelry trends.
