Three gorgeous pieces of pottery, handmade by the last remaining ceramist of Naxos island. The set includes a big bowl and two small ones, glazed with shades of turquoise enamel in pastel hues. They are made by red Naxian clay and can be used to serve or decorate. Serve snacks or salads, use them as jewelry trays or in any other way you can think of.
Like all the pieces of Manolis Libertas, these bowls have been shaped by hand, dried for one day in the workshop, then left two more days in the Naxos sun to dry further and rubbed with a sponge for the surface to become totally smooth. Then they were fired in the kiln for about 6 hours, painted and covered in enamel so they could get back in the kiln for another 8 hours. After 24 hours the bowls had been cooled down and were ready to be used.
