A hand-crafted scarf, made of 100% natural silk, in the small Greek town of Soufli, where silk is grown from natural silkworm cocoons since antiquity.
This scarf was designed using the Ebru art technique.
Ebru is a traditional form of painting, known in the East for centuries. The design is made on the surface of the water and then captured on the fabric. Every piece of fabric turns into a canvas where the artwork is transferred and it takes 4 days to perfect each scarf. There can be no two identical pieces, each scarf is unique.
