A ceramic basket, that could be used as a functional serving piece or a decorative item for your home. It is made by red clay and has been glazed. It features three colors, light turquoise, white and beige.

It is a perfectly imperfect basket by the last ceramist in Naxos island, that would look great filled with fruits, small pots of succulents or anything else you could think of.

Like all the pieces of Manolis Libertas, this basket has been shaped by hand, dried for one day in the workshop, then left two more days in the Naxos sun to dry further and rubbed with a sponge for the surface to become totally smooth. Then it was fired in the kiln for about 6 hours, painted and covered in enamel so it can get back in the kiln for another 8 hours. After 24 hours the basket had been cooled down and was ready to be used.
